ascephThe goals of the ASCE Seattle Section - Ports and Harbors Technical Committee are to integrate the diverse interests of the interdisciplinary professional community, to facilitate communication among the different fields concerning the state, utilization, and protection of waterways, ports, harbors, and estuarine areas, and to promote the advancement of the engineering profession through encouragement and recognition by meritorious achievement. ASCE Seattle P&H Committee achieves these goals through ongoing presentations, and seminars engaging diverse speakers and interested members. The Seattle Section P&H membership includes engineers, students, consultants, government representatives, contractors and other professionals who share a link to the waterfront environment.

The ASCE Ports and Harbors Committee meets on the last Wednesday of most months throughout the year. Meeting places may change venue throughout the year but most are currently held at:
