YOUNGER MEMBER FORUM

ymf

Welcome to the Seattle Section of the Younger Member Forum (YMF)! But what IS the YMF anyway?!? The Younger Member Forum (YMF) of ASCE is a group of young* civil engineers. YMF members have the opportunity to volunteer in the local community, network with peers, work on professional development, and socialize with other young civil engineers. Announcements for upcoming meetings and events are sent via email. If you would like to join the email list, simply send a blank email to seattleymf-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. Please feel free to contact our Secretary, Erica Wygonik, if you have any questions.

If you have any questions regarding any of our events or want more information please feel free contact any of the officers. Throughout the year, we participate in many projects and host events such as the Popsicle Stick Bridge Building Competition for local High School Students, Seattle Works Day, Rebuilding Together, technical tours, monthly young engineer happy hours, ASCE Conferences, and other activities.

*"Young" is defined by ASCE national as a member under 35 years of age. However, the Seattle Section YMF has a "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" Policy. If you're interested in what we're doing, by all means, JOIN US!
